C- sis in law did not congratulate me on my pregnancy.
T- she’s rude.
F- offended.
A-ruminate, as well as judge myself for caring.
R- waste time and energy on it.

Would you say I have a manual for my sis in law ? I logically think my thoughts are a manual for her. But I also think sis in laws should absolutely congratulate their brother and/or sis In law of a new niece or nephew, and I’m not sure I want to spend my time around unsupportive people. I understand the manual BUT I also don’t see anything wrong for having minimal expectations for family / friends.

*(My mother in law mentioned to her I was pregnant two months ago so I know that she is aware).
