Unintentional
C: email from co-worker
T: I already told him that yesterday!
F: annoyed
A: respond and let him know that I had already told him that yesterday
R: tension between us

Intentional
C: email from co-worker
T: He must’ve missed what I sent yesterday
F: understanding
A: simply respond without pointing out that I had told him that yesterday
R: improved communication between us

PS – I had written the first email but noticed that I was responding while feeling annoyed. After pausing to reflect, I ended up sending the second email from the intentional model.
