Feedback Struggles

I recently got some feedback in an employee survey that wasn’t positive. I’ve modeled it out and found a better thought – which I do actually believe- but I’m still emotionally feeling so badly about this feedback. Here are my models:

F shame, embarrassed
A go into victim mode, don’t show up in the same way, feel frustrated with the employee, look for short term wins, lose focus
R don’t do my best

F empowered
A address the issue, hop in head first, figure out what is my responsibility and what is not, keep on course
R grow as a manager

I am doing the actions in the second model, but I still feel like crap. Help!
