Feeling the emotion

A friend and I used to joke about putting things in the vault, anything that felt to hard or scary to deal with.
I am pretty good at the whole vault thing, but i don’t think that is the intention of this exercise.

Is the intention to notice and do anyway? are there any tricks i can use so that I am not just bulldozing through and actually notice my thoughts. feelings, actions and consciously challenge them?

Or is there no difference?
