Food Freedom and no place for « on the go »

I started a protocol to lose weight after watching the “stop overeating” workshop. Brooke mentioned that the protocol brings more freedom than choosing what we want whenever we want it. I get the idea.

However, sometimes, in order to do what someone planned for you (and you have to do it), you have to eat on the go or complicate the rest of your day. Today I chose to complicate my day to stick to my protocol. I do not feel free though. I am glad I succeeded to eat what I planned despite circumstances but it would have been so much easier to just grab something on the go.

I think sometimes the protocol does not bring freedom but constraints. How to deal with the protocol when I should be eating while driving? I can do this with a sandwich, not a salad.
