Hi, there. I came up with the following model and I’m confused because the F is “Confused.” Would really appreciate some additional clarity here.

Here is the model:

C: Guy I’m dating says, in response to a text I sent: “Your message was rude”
T: “I don’t think I am rude.”
F: Confused
A: Talk to others and ask their opinion of my original text, don’t talk with him directly
R: I’m coming across as rude? or

R: I am preventing myself from figuring out if I am coming across as rude? or

R: The confusion is masking a more accurate thought, like fear or doubt?
