I love how Brooke talks about unconditional love… but…. I also find it challenging to implement.

My ex husband has been abusive to me for years and still does things that are mean by societal standards – not just mine.

How do I love someone who was “supposed” to love me as my husband but became abusive instead?

I still try and understand how a human could treat another human this way. I still try and understand how I allowed myself to be so mistreated. How can I love someone who abuses me?

We have three children so I cannot just cut him out.
