How to stop buffering while being depressed??!!


Hi Brooke,
I am currently experiencing clinical depression , on medication and I am trying to implement what you have advised in the DEPRESSION PODCAST. My question is how do I start to feel emotions and not buffer while being very depressed. You haven’t talked a lot about it in depression podcast. But, you have said that buffering or trying not to experience emotion makes depression worse. To learn how to feel, I read HOW TO FEEL podcasts but still it is really difficult to follow through the steps mentioned in the how to feel podcasts. What would you suggest me? ; to someone experiencing depression and willing to work on it — on the topic of buffering? How can I start to not buffer? What do i do now to stop buffering ?
