I’m a baker. How can I give up flour and sugar?


I am struggling with the idea of giving up flour and sugar. I am a professional baker and I also enjoy baking for my family and friends. It’s a huge part of my identity and something I love doing. It’s also where my expertise lies, so giving it up really does feel like giving up a huge, positive, part of myself. Any suggestions?

Addendum: friends have suggested I bake, but not taste, but I don’t see that as an option. You wouldn’t ask a lawyer to do work for you and then not check their work, right? It’s part of the process.
