(This is actually two questions I realize!) Y’all probably expected this: how can all circumstances be neutral when we consider the situation in Ukraine? I mean, *I* can make my meaning of this — but not if I lived in Ukraine. I’ve been thinking of asking a version of this question before the invasion, in relationship to a friend of mine in his late 20s who’s been diagnosed with PTSD from losing 15-20 age peers to opioids and gun violence — he himself was threatened with a gun in his mouth once. I’ve actually been hesitating showing him LCS content because of this issue. A lot of what we study he’d like – but “all circumstances are neutral” would definitely not resonate.
