Hi ! I tend to indulge in worry a lot (when I think thoughts like “I will lose my job”, “I will never meet a suitable guy for me”, “I will have financial issues”). In this month’s workbook on emotional well-being, it is mentioned that we should go on diet from indulgent emotions. But how do I go on diet for an emotion? Do I resist it/ignore it?
Also, I have a lot of anxiety too. Anxiety is a negative emotion that I am supposed to allow. So how do I make sure that I don’t confuse worry and anxiety and that I do feel anxiety instead of resisting it?
