I had to do some thought work on intermittent fasting – turns out I actually had some fear around not eating breakfast (or in general, not eating at regular intervals throughout the day). I now realize that it was sugar and flour that were causing me so much discomfort (sugar low) and I have eased myself into Protocol. No sugar, no flour, no breakfast, no snacking, whole foods only! I love to work out but have fallen out of routine while my kids are home for summer. They will return to school soon! I have a few questions about the best time of day to work out — is there one? Is it different for everyone? Have you found any research indicating a best time of day for exercise, for instance, during fasting? I’d love to know your thoughts on this!
