Measurable Results

I am struggling to define this. I have chosen to work on stopping overdrinking this first month. When presented with the task of writing measurable results by the end of the month I get a little panicky.
Here is what I wrote:
Go from 6-8 bottles/week to 1
Go from 3-5 drinks a night to 2-3
Go from drinking every night to 1-2
Am I on the right track? Are these 1 month or more the year type goal??
