I’m new to scholars and have been doing my daily thought downloads since the beginning of December, however, I find myself unable to “hear” my thoughts. I am a physician in a very busy practice and so I am very accustomed to ignoring myself, my wishes and my thoughts to take care of others. I then come home and have two very small children and thus am focused on them basically until bed. Before joining scholars I would do mindless things (watch tv) that did not require thinking. Now that I am in scholars I take at least 30-60 minutes after the kids are in bed to dedicate to my wellness and self coaching. However, even in a perfectly quiet room, I sit and try to hear what my brain is thinking and I get mostly nothing.
What am I doing wrong?
