I have joined SCS only few months ago and my goal is to be able to make a living as a screenwriter in TV and film.

When I joined, I was already on my way in trying to write a non-fiction book as well as TV sitcom pilot, but I’ve recently learned about the most amazing screenwriting contest that runs only once a year and its last deadline for a film screenplay submission is end of April, which gives me a bite more than two months to start and complete a full-length film screenplay and submit it.

Is it ok to stop writing the TV pilot I started in order to make this impossible deadline and then get back to it later?
