Some circumstances in our life force us to be “people-pleasers”.  For example, executing a task that would be part of a job description, although we don’t adhere to the proposed process. If it is conscious, is that still considered people pleasing in that we are not doing it to be liked but more to keep our job, although deep inside we don’t want this?
