Sticking with past decisions

I’m taking in the October material — v. excited for it.

One thing I’d like to get clarification on is how to reconcile those two thoughts you offer:
– One of the most telltale indicators of success is the ability to make a decision and stick with this decision.
– We shouldn’t live our lives from our past decisions, but create new decisions for a fresh future.

So if I made a decision last year and I’m sticking with that decision, how do I know when that decision has become an old decision I shouldn’t live from?

Is it about constant re-evaluation, observing our thoughts, and doing models to see whether those past decisions are still serving us?

Thank you!
