Stopping eating at +2

Hi Brooke.

So the first big change I’ve committed to is losing 10kilos (or 22.5 pounds). I currently weigh about 85 kgs (187 lbs) and find this is where I usually plateau / give up. Not this time!! The compelling reason workbook inspired me.

I’ve also reread ‘If I’m so smart why can’t I lose wait’ and am really experimenting with the hunger scale. One thing I’m doing is pausing during my meal to ask where I’m at on the scale. I’m also making a conscious effort to stop at 2/3 and 3/4 to see if I want anymore or if I’m already at +2.

But then here’s my question – I’m usually happy to stop about 3/4 of the meal (sometimes a lot less) but then I find I pick away and eat more.
Any thoughts on what’s going on here and what to do about it? I think it’s fog eating or a force of habit?

Thanks.
