Does it take longer if you have little weight to lose?

I am at what I think is a good weight for my height and stature (a touch under 5’7″ and 135 lb), but I feel better in my body when I am a little thinner than that, at 130-132 lb.

I am on a no-flour, no-sugar, no-dairy (I am intolerant), no-snacking protocol, with 2 meals in an eating window of ~8 hours.

I’ve been doing this for a week and I kinda anticipated I would see results by now, but the scale hasn’t budged yet.

Should I expect it to take longer when I don’t have very much to lose? I remember you saying the “last few pounds” were the hardest.

If it makes any difference, I am 38 and still breastfeeding my 2 1/2-year-old morning and night (in passing, I am sending love and good vibes to the mother who wants to breastfeed her daughter!).

Thank you!
