Talking to myself in 3rd person

I have noticed that when I am calm and not in the middle of having to coach myself or manage my emotions I will coach myself in first person, “I got his” or “I can do this”

But when I am in the middle of a stressful situation I find myself using the third person, ” Cheryl you can do this” or “It is your responsibility to manage this you can do this”

It’s as if when I am stressed I have to step out and almost be my parent to get myself in line.

So is this healthy or a sign of more work needs to be done?
