time planning / time management question

Hi Brooke – I love what you teach about planning/time management/constraint – it’s helping me SO much. I know you always recommend to give yourself a time limit and simply get it done within that time. But how do you handle it when things just take longer than expected? Example: I planned 45 minutes to finish up a website project. But this time, I had unexpected technical issues. I attempted to troubleshoot myself, but then had to work w/ tech support to fix it. All in all, it took me twice as long to finish.

In terms of planning/time management, how do you generally handle it when unexpected issues arise?
Do you ever give yourself extra “padding” time when planning your schedule? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!
