Weight Loss and the Urge Jar

I’m having trouble distinguishing urges. Say for instance I’m watching TV and I see a commercial for cookies, and I would REALLY like to have one of those soft chocolaty delights, but I don’t have cookies in my house and I’m not getting up and going to the store to buy any. So, did I just have an urge and should I put a bead in the Urge Jar? Also, if I all of a sudden I have a craving or taste for pizza, but I don’t have any pizza around. Was that an urge? I’m thinking an urge is when I am desiring cookies or pizza and I have it near, or I’m willing to go out and buy it right then. Please help me understand. Thank you!
