When Do You Know That Something Is A Buffer?

I just listened to the Feeling on Purpose podcast and have been thinking a lot about the question “what would your life look like if it was completely buffer free?” Some buffers I think are easy to identify like overeating and overdrinking. But what about things like overworking or feeling overly tired? I’ve been trying to schedule out my days and I’ve found that I get so physically exhausted trying to fit everything in (granted, I rarely get my full 8 hrs in a night). I’ve been falling behind because I’ll give into my urges lay down for a bit/ procrastinate. I find it difficult to assess whether this is all just buffering or if I’m overpacking my schedule to an unrealistic level and my body is trying to tell me I need to slow down.
