Why Was it Okay for the C Line to be Less Neutral?

In Brooke’s podcast from Saturday, she said that normally we want to be very neutral with our C line—such as “A man said words”—which is what I’ve been doing since I’ve learned about the model.

But with the death of George Floyd, she said it was very important we use the words “white” and “black” to describe the men. Her C line as a whole also felt very charged and not neutral at all.

Why was it okay to have a non-neutral C-line in this circumstance?
